We’ve planned some great events to mark your time in Seattle. This page highlights the three major Summit events: the welcome reception on Sunday evening, the end-of-day reception on Monday evening, and the Awards luncheon on Tuesday afternoon. As we finalize details for who’s cooking and for the menu, we’ll post it up here. Field trips and meet-and-greets each have their own page.

Sunday, September 30, 5:30-7:30 pm: Welcome reception, Olympic Sculpture Park (2901 Western Avenue), Sponsored by Taylor Shellfish and SustainableHire, the reception will feature the flavors of the Northwest foodshed. An oyster bar featuring Olympia, Kumamoto, Totten Inlet Virginica, Shigoku, and Peale Passage oysters handled by expert shuckers will also feature wine pairings from winners of the Pacific Coast Oyster Wine Competition. It’s sure to be an oyster lover’s dream – and it’s just the beginning of an event that will also feature flavors and ingredients from all over the Northwest.
