Open Letter from Stephen Mancini of Restaurant North

Dear Chefs Collaborative,

Last week was amazing, the Chefs Collaborative Summit was one of the most inspiring professional experiences of my career, thank you so much for all that you did to make it possible. As a 2014 Summit Scholarship recipient I am grateful for the opportunity to participate and this will for sure not be my last Summit. I would like to bring more of my team to Summits in years to come, it was that informative.

It was so nice meeting you and I am thankful for the bond that we created while in Boulder, CO. I am super pumped to take what I have learned at the Summit and bring it back to my Local in New York. I would love the opportunity to see what some other Locals have accomplished just so I can get my bearings. I also believe that Sara and I can climb mountains and create change.

I have looped in my chef Eric Gabrynowicz, he was unable to attend Summit this year due to the birth of his family’s second child (which is pretty cool). Both Eric and I are excited about forging a strong bond with Chefs Collaborative in the months and years to come. This is extremely important to us.

We are here to help, teach and support the sustainable food movement, please NEVER hesitate to ask for help or assistance in anyway and we look forward to working with you in the future. If any of you are ever in New York, please let us know, we would love to share our hospitality with you.

With love and admiration,

Stephen Paul Mancini
