		<description>This post makes me really stoked to be part of a CSA this year, doing my little part to help support a farmer during a less-than-optimal growing season.  And reading about all the woes of heavy rain, little sunshine and tomato blight, I&#039;m that much more excited about the beets, basil, onions, and corn that I&#039;m getting.  Thanks!</description>

You make exactly the right point that when we hear terrible growing conditions and diseases, we shouldn&#039;t leave the farmers&#039; market to find the foods elsewhere, we should revel in what we do have, which is still very very abundant! We can&#039;t be fair-weather customers, literally and figuratively.</description>
